Beginning in coastal Negombo, travel north through ancient kingdoms and national parks to witness the wildlife of Wilpattu National Park, where leopards, elephants and sloth bears roam. Explore the ruined monasteries and sacred relics of Anuradhapura, before venturing further into the Tamil heartland of Jaffna to explore colonial forts and Hindu temples.

Head east to the laidback harbour town of Trincomalee, with time to explore its abundant marine park at your own pace. At Dambulla, see richly painted cave temples, before continuing to Sigiriya Rock Fortress, one of Sri Lanka’s most iconic landmarks. Arrive in Kandy to visit the revered Temple of the Sacred Tooth before finishing in Colombo.
