This private journey covers Sri Lanka from its cultural heartland to its southern coast, with a dedicated tour director and seamless transport connecting every stop. Beginning in coastal Negombo, the route moves inland through the Cultural Triangle, touring ancient jungle ruins, Dambulla’s sacred cave temples and the 1,200-step climb to Sigiriya Rock Fortress.

The hill country brings a change of pace. A scenic train from Kandy to Nuwara Eliya threads through mist-covered tea estates where Ceylon leaves are still plucked by hand and aromatic spice gardens inspire a traditional village cooking lesson. Wildlife, food and oceanfront luxury close out the journey.
