The best way to discover Spain and Portugal is plate by plate. Over 16 days, this small-group culinary journey travels across the Iberian Peninsula, from Catalan cooking classes in Barcelona’s old town to food trails through Lisbon’s legendary pastry shops and revered food halls.

Extraordinary dining anchors the journey. Near Porto, savour an included lunch at the two-Michelin-starred Casa de Chá da Boa Nova, where modern seafood-focused Portuguese cuisine is served in a landmark dining room built into the rocks above the Atlantic. In San Sebastian, follow a local guide between the city’s pintxo bars and gain rare access to dinner at a private Basque gastronomic society.

Exclusive food experiences reveal the region’s deep-rooted culinary traditions. Prepare classic regional dishes, including paella, during hands-on cooking classes; taste Basque cheesecake at La Viña, where it was invented; and sample celebrated wines in Ribera del Duero and La Rioja. You’ll end each evening at exceptional accommodation.
