Southern Africa unfolds across bush, baobab and spray, and there is no finer way to discover it than aboard the legendary Rovos Rail, widely regarded as the most luxurious train in the world. Over ten days, this journey will take you through three countries, beginning with a night at The Fairlawns Boutique Hotel in Johannesburg before boarding in Pretoria for a four-night formal rail passage through Zimbabwe.

Settle into your refined Pullman Suite as the Highveld gives way to lower country and the train crosses the Limpopo River into Zimbabwe. Step off at Matobo National Park for an excursion through ancient granite kopjes and San rock art, then rise the following morning for an included game drive through the vast wilderness of Hwange National Park before the train makes its final approach to Victoria Falls.

At the falls, a guided tour and a luxury sundowner cruise on the Zambezi River bring one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World into full relief. The journey concludes in Botswana at Chobe Game Lodge, where all meals and scheduled game activities are included across two days in one of Africa’s most wildlife-rich national parks.
